Growing up and going to school in Colton, I always felt a bit like an outsider, living in a part of the city that wasn’t traditionally considered part of the town/community. Whether or not that is unfounded is irrelevant. It was, after all, the perception of my younger self.
This series is my attempt to photograph the various places throughout that traditional part of the city. Places that have a particular significance and that I might have a particular fondness for in my heart.
